Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

student will be able to formulate basic concepts and relationships from the issue of the protection of air quality - student deepen their existing knowledge gained from the subject of environmental protection and environmental legislation - student will be able to demonstrate their acquired knowledge into practice - student will be able to analyze problems relating to the various activities related to trade air - Student will be able to properly present and formulate their knowledge and using the PC programs

Summary

This subject is focused on the problems of air protection area, the sources of air pollution, the types of emision and its reduction, legislative in this area and the analytic methods in air protection area.

• Basic terminology and characteristics • Emissions - air pollutants • Classification of sources of air pollution contamination • Technical options of reduction of emissions • Industrial sources • Local heating • Mobile sources – traffic • Measurement of emissions • Immission, analytical methods for measurement of air pollution contamination • Dispersion of pollutants • Air quality management • Mathematical distribution models of pollutants
