Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

- student will be able to understand the basic principles for the environmental impacts assessment and requirements for the integrated prevention of significant environmental polluters - student will be able to analyze the environmental aspects of industrial technologies - student will be able to make a selection of the best available techniques - student will be able to make the basic requirement for integrated permit - student will know the basic requirements for making the EIA documentation

Summary

Studenti se v rámci tohoto předmětu seznámí se základními principy hodnocení stavu životního prostředí a posléze s postupy vedoucími k nápravě v souladu s koncepcí udržitelného rozvoje. V procesech posuzování vlivů koncepcí a záměrů a integrované prevence bude aplikována maximálně možná prevence před průmyslovým znečišťováním všech složek životního prostředí. K tomu bude využita odborná, legislativní a dále právní znalost, kterou pokrývají jednotlivé kapitoly uvedeného předmětu.

Subject syllabus:

1. Quality of the Environment compared with other countries, priority to improving the state of the environment. 2. Types and sources of public environmental support. 3. Environmental damage as a measurable change in a natural resource and its functions, prevention, corrective action. 4. Tools for the care of the environment. 5. Indicators as a tool for identification and description of the problems in the environment, basic requirements, classification and systems, concept of making, key indicators by major topics, the state of the environment in the context DPSIR model. 6. Environmental assessment in successive steps. 7. Legislation in the processes of assessment and plans, integrated prevention. 8. Principles of integrated prevention, the conditions for granting of an integrated permit. 9. Territorial plans and related legislation. 10. Strategic Assessment of concepts influence - SEA, objectives, outcome, projects subjected to the process, course. 11. Assessment of the effects of projects on the environment - EIA, content and severity of the process, evaluation of semence of decision-making processes. Assessment of transboundary impacts. 12. Health risk assessment in the impact assessment - a conceptual model of the determinants of health, HIA, HRA. 13. Protection of human health and environment, assessment and management of risks at industrial enterprises - REACH , CLP. ECHA (European Environment Agency ) and its environment. 14. Dispersion studies in the EIA, the modeling of physical pollution - noise study. 15. Nature conservation in the evaluation process influences, Natura 2000 biocorridors.
