Subject syllabus:

Předmět navazuje na znalosti z předmětů Chemie obecná a anorganická, Organická chemie, Fysikální chemie, Teorie technologických procesů, Teorie výroby surového železa a Teorie metalurgických pochodů. Dále jsou nutné Proudění a sdílení tepla, Průmyslové pece. Je probírána souvislost uhlíku a žáruvzdorných materiálů s metalurgií, vlastnosti prvku uhlíký, krystalické modifikace a jejich vlastnosti a také formy a projevy průmyslového uhlíku. Suroviny k výrobě a jejich příprava, struktura forem průmyslového uhlíku, technologie průmyslové výroby, formy průmyslového uhlíku v detailu, jejich vlastnosti a způsopb jejich ovlivnění. Nauhličovadla, karbidy, ochranné nátěry, slévárenská líčidla. Perspektivní formy průmyslového uhlíku: sorbenty, fullereny, nanotuby. Hutnické žáruvzdorné materiály, jejich vlastnosti a stanovení. Použití ŽM, konstrukce vyzdívek. Tvarová staviva, zrněné hmoty, malty isolace, žárobetony, opravy. Výroba žáruvzdorných materiálů, chování žáruvzdorných materiálů v provozních podmínkách, horké a střední opravy, torkretace.
