Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The subject is prepared for Czech speaking students. . Student will be able understand chemical nomenclature and chemical text written in English. Student will be able to perform short oral presentation of chemical subject – e.g. abstract of Thesis.

Summary

The course is appointed mainly to Czech students. Reading of chapters from elementary technical chemistry in easy English introduces vocabulary of chemistry and chemical engineering. Principles and basic concepts of journal publication, patent, lecture and conference discussion in English are discussed.
