Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student can analyze complex processes of unit operations from viewpoint of flow, heat and mass transfer. He/she applies particular knowledge from previous studies of process engineering fundamentals. He applies physical chemistry and can search related data in tables and databases. Particular knowledge is trained in the chemical engineering laboratory.

Teaching methods

Summary

Unit operations of chemical engineering are thoroughly analyzed from viewpoint of flow, heat and mass transfer. Application of principles of physical chemistry and transport phenomena is pointed out. Practical application of the knowledge is trained in a laboratory of chemical engineering.
