Summary
Thermodynamics and kinetics of chemical processes (chemical equilibrium, heat of reaction, rate of chemical reaction, transition state theory, the effect of temperature on reaction rate, catalysis). Burning as a redox reaction. Properties affecting the flammability of substances. Chemistry and combustion processes, extinguishing and retardation of combustion .Extinguishing aggents -classic and modern.
Technically most important groups of substances (production, utilization, environmental and toxicological characteristics). Relationship between structure and properties of substances (physical chemical, toxicological). Products of combustion and their toxicological characteristics.
