A better understanding of the relationship between chemical bonding, structure and properties of compounds with special focus on the carbonaceous materials and also other inorganic materials.

Summary
Vazby a stereochemie kovalentních sloučenin. Vazby a struktura pevných kovových a iontových látek. Termické vlastnosti anorganických sloučenin. Termodynamická stabilita oxidačních stavů.
Obecné vlastnosti, elektronová konfigurace, vazebné možnosti, typické sloučeniny, příprava, výroba a aplikace uhlíkatých materiálů v technické praxi. Technicky významné křemičitanové materiály. Zvláštní typy vazeb v chemii boru, boridy, borany, boritanová skla. Chemie stopových prvků v uhlí.
