- student will be able to formulate basic steelmaking reactions - student will be able to characterise steelmaking aggregates - student will be able to describe ways of steel secondary metallurgy treatment and steel casting

Summary

Subject is read with the purpose to understand the theoretical principles of steelmaking, the steelmaking technology in particular aggregates, the steel deoxidization and its treatment by secondary metallurgy, the steel casting partly by classical method, partly on the continuous casting machine.
