Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student will be able formulate : - basic contextures and structure of metallurgical aggregates - tendency in sphere of metallurgical basic and problems of steelmaking.

Teaching methods

Summary

1) Part of subject is read with the purpose to outline basic contextures and structure of metallurgical aggregates in sphere of metallurgical basic industry. There is also paid attention to automatic device, ecological problems and alternative methods of hot metal. 2) This part is read with the purpose to understand problems of steelmaking. Survey and evelopment of steelmaking processes, steelmaking slags, oxidising processes, steel deoxidisation and desulphurisation, steel production in converters, tandem and electric furnaces, secondary metallurgy of steel, steel casting.

Subject syllabus:

Přednáška 1) část – Metalurgie železa 1. Historie výroby železa a současný stav. 2.Teoretické základy výroby surového železa, redukční a tepelné pochody ve vysoké peci. 3. Protiproud vsázky a plynu ve vysoké peci. 4. Řízení kvality surového železa. 5. Automatizace a modelování vysokopecního pochodu. 6. Alternativní způsoby výroby železa. 7. Současné inovační směry a ekologická problematika výroby železa. 2) část – Metalurgie oceli 1. Úvod do metalurgie oceli, výroba oceli v ČR a ve světě. 2. Historie výroby oceli. Současné způsoby výroby oceli. 3. Ocelářské reakce, teorie strusek. 4. Výroba oceli v kyslíkových konvertorech - LD, OBM. 5. Výroba oceli v T-pecích, technologie výroby 6. Výroba elektrooceli – EOP, indukční pece. 7. Dezoxidace oceli, mimopecní zpracování oceli 8. Odlévání oceli – klasický způsob, ZPO.
