Student will be able to formulate : - structure of blast-furnace plants - perspectives of blast-furnace plant - basic principles in metallurgy

Teaching methods

Summary

Ore-dressing plant, sintering plant, pelletizing plant. Designing of blast furnace plant. Blast furnace profil calculation. Charging equipment.Blast furnace refractory materials.Lining and cooling systems. Blast furnace foundation and steel construction. Cast house. Blasting aparatures. Construction of stoves. Slag granulation. Equipment of gas cleaning. Monitoring and mesurement equipment. Computer aided control systems.

Subject syllabus:

Zařízení na úpravu rud, výrobu aglomerátu a peletizaci. Výpočet profilu vysoké pece. Uspořádání vysokopecního závodu. Zvonové a bezzvonové sazebny. Vyzdívka jednotlivých částí vysoké pece. Kovová konstrukce a plášť vysoké pece. Chlazení vysoké pece a armatur. Dmyšné soupravy. Zařízení pro vypouštění surového železa a strusky. Odlévárna vysoké pece. Doprava surového železa a strusky. Druhy a příslušenství ohřívačů větru. Zpracování vysokopecní strusky. Zařízení na čištění vysokopecního plynu. Měřící a řídící zařízení vysoké pece.
