Structure of blast furnace plant, sintering plant, pelletizing plant. Designing of blast furnace plant. Blast furnace profile calculation. Charging equipment. Blast furnace refractory materials. Lining and cooling systems. Blast furnace foundation and steel construction. Cast house. Blasting aparatures. Construction of stoves. Slag granulation. Equipment of gas cleaning. Monitoring and measurement equipment. Computer aided control systems.

Subject syllabus:

1. Eqipment to adjust the furnace materials. Types and effectiveness of homogenization equipment. Tanks, crushers, separators, metering devices, mixing and combustion equipment. 2. Construction of sintering band and pellets. Sintering sealing strip. Ignition device. Exhaust system, and electrostatic dust collectors. Sinter coolers, utilization of waste heat. 3. Installations for the production of raw pellets and reinforcement. 4. Arrangement of blast races. Calculation of high-profile furnace. Equipment for storage and transportation of raw materials 5. The base and steel construction of blast furnace 6. Requirements for lining furnaces. Lining the bottom, hearth, bosh, and belly to the shaft. Troat protection. 7. Cold blast furnace. Construction of cooling elements. Water and evaporative cooling. Cooling valve. 8. Hearth eqipment. Tuyere sets, discharge of pig iron and slag. 9. Filling equipment. Bell and bellles equipment. Work platform furnace and its equipment. 10. Hot blast,stove, the types of structure, bricklaying. Spove fittings Preheating combustion air and gas. 11. Equipment for thick, semi-fine and fine blast furnace gas cleaning. Equipment to increase the pressure in the blast furnace, expander, the turbine. 12. Water blast furnace operations. Inspection, Measuring and control equipment of blast furnaces.
