Student will be able formulate : - Basics of reduction processes algorithmization - All - important tendency of reduction processes algorithmization

Teaching methods

Summary

Analysis of graphic formulation diagrams – thermodynamics balances of schemes Fe-O-C and Fe-O-H. Eduction and practical usage of model for thermodynamics balance of reducing processes. Kinetics of reducing processes modelling by pig iron production, eduction and calculation of practical example. Predictive model of "Si" reduction into the pig iron – project of algorithm.

Subject syllabus:

Teoretické základy pochodů redukce oxidů železa. redukce oxidem uhelnatým. Redukce pevným uhlíkem a redukce vodíkem. Termodynamika redukce oxidů. Kinetika redukčních pochodů. Základní předpoklady algoritmizace a výchozí předpoklady. Algoritmizace redukčních pochodů a výchozí předpoklady. Termodynamický model redukce a stanovení teoretické minimální měrné spotřeby koksu. Kinetický model redukce plynem. Kinetický model redukce s uplatněním Boudoardovy reakce. Algoritmizace optimalizačních postupů při predikci a analýze průběhu redukčních pochodů. Praktické příklady použití.
