Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

- student will be able to formulate basic steelmaking reactions - student will be able to characterise steelmaking aggregates - student will be able to describe ways of steel secondary metallurgy treatment and steel casting

Teaching methods

Summary

Subject is interpreted with the purpose to understand the theoretical principles of steelmaking, the steelmaking technology by oxygen processes, the production in electric arc furnaces, electric induction furnaces and open- hearth furnaces, the principles of steel deoxidization.

Přednáška 1. Úvod do předmětu. Výroba oceli v ČR a ve světě. 2. Výroba oceli v metalurgických zařízeních. 3. Vyzdívky metalurgických zařízení. 4. Molekulární a iontová teorie strusek. 5. Vznik a význam ocelářských strusek. 6. Reakce oduhličení oceli. 7. Výroba oceli v kyslíkových konvertorech. 8. Výroba oceli v tandemových pecích. 9. Výroba oceli v elektrických pecích. 10. Oduhličení oceli. 11. Odfosfoření oceli, podmínky, význam. 12. Odsíření oceli, podmínky, význam. 13. Vměstky v oceli, plny v oceli. 14. Dezoxidace oceli.
