- student will be able to characterise possibilities of secondary metallurgy - student will be able to describe reactions proceeding at secondary metallurgy of steel - student will be able demonstrate processes proceeding at steel solidification

Teaching methods

Summary

Subject is interpreted with the purpose to understand the theoretical principles of steel treatment by secondary metallurgy, the principles of particular technologies of secondary metallurgy, the theoretical principles of steel casting and solidification, particular technologies of steel casting, the principles of micro-segregate and macro-segregate segregate processes at the steel solidification.

Přednáška 1. Technologie sekundární metalurgie. 2. Rafinace oceli inertním plynem. 3. Vakuová rafinace oceli. 4. Výroba nerezavějících ocelí mimopecními způsoby. 5. Rafinace oceli syntetickými struskami. 6. Pánvové pece. 7. Odlévání oceli do kokil. 8. Plynulé odlévání oceli.
