Summary
The course is focused on the application possibilities of MS Office software products and 3D modeler ANSYS DesignModeler in technology of steel production and casting. Students obtain the theoretical and practical knowledge in CAD systems, they adopts the principle of geometry modelling. On the basis of technological aims, graduates will be able to separately design specific dimensions of ingot moulds for casting of steel ingots, to create of casting geometry, to prepare the technological parameters of casting (casting temperature, casting speed, etc.) and handle such casting technology. And all with the use of modern computer applications.
