Subject syllabus:

1. The organic shape. Demonstration of the theme - use of reproductions of existing works of high quality. Since antiquity, through Michelangelo, Rodin, Marino Marini, Manzu, Maillol to Myslbeka, Štursa etc. 2. Visualization of organic material. Working with the basal anatomy. 3. Plasticity, stylization, the whole X the detail, modeling- a posteriori according to real model. 4. Sculptures in Ostrava. Implementation of excursion -Ostrava sculptures and their comments (memorial art sculpture in conjunction with architecture, fountains, plaques, statues) Exercises 1. Raelization of models (bozzetto)- for possibility of the metal processing - of stylized figure or animal. Possibility of incorporation of simple object, wavy fabric and other space-enriching elements to the whole composition. 2. In individual cases will be consulted the construction of supporting structure (skeleton). 3. Compactness, structure. 4. Modeling - accent on the whole. Stylization. Proportions - need of feedback to model correction. 5. Surface. The use of different modeling methods - such as exact geometric shaping X "playful" wavy fabric ( exact modeling X expression). 6. Mold making. Making of a waste mold. 7. A plaster cast. Casting plaster model to full / to hollow. 8. Finishing of the cast - wet and dry.
