Acquired knowledge
- The student will be able to make a critical analysis of literature data related to the topic of the bachelor thesis (BT)
- The student will be able to evaluate the literature materials and formulate theoretical ideas of the Bachelor's thesis ( BT).
Acquired skills
- The student will be able to proces a literature review of the Bachelor Thesis ( BT - The student will be able to compile a literature summary of the topic of literary knowledge and evaluate literature evidence in the proces of the bachelor thesis ( BT).

Summary
The course focuses on the processing of a literature review and on critical evaluation of literature data for the final work.
Compulsory literature:
Articles from professional journals Central Library, VSB-TU Ostrava, such as Iron Technology, ISIJ International, Metallurgical and Materials Transaction, Revue de Métallurgie.
Recommended literature:
Articles from professional journals Scandinavian Journal of Metallurgy, Stahl und Eisen, Steel Research International

Subject syllabus:
1. Familiarization with the requirements for the bachelor thesis, discussion of the source literature citation rules , format and scope of the thesis.
2. Processing literature review aimed at addressing the thesis.
3. Analysis min . Two foreign and two other literary sources from the area of solved problems in the form of text as a basis for the bachelor thesis .
4. Ongoing consultation as appropriate with supervisor or consultant of the thesis.
5. Checking research, literary analysis and the writing of thesis and award of credit
