Summary

The subject focuses on theoretical and practical aspects connected with the of steelmaking for castings in electric arc and induction furnaces. Ways and possibilities of steel processing in the area of secondary metalurgy currently used in steel foundries are also presented. The subject also deals with the determination of causes of occurence of individual kinds of defects of steel castings.
