The aim of the course is to deepen the student's knowledge in the field of chemical thermodynamics, kinetics and dispersion systems with applications to the processes of combustion, explosion and extinguishing.

Subject syllabus:

Termodynamické a kinetické charakteristiky hoření a výbuchu. Reakční, spalná a výbuchová tepla, závislost na teplotě, maximální reakční teplota. Rovnovážné stavy chemické a fyzikální. Vlastnosti hořlavin a výbušin, jejich termochemické charakteristiky. Kyslík a vzduch pro hoření a výbuch, kyslíkové číslo. Složení produktů hoření a výbuchu, tepelné efekty, tlak a teplota. Izobarická a izochorická výbuchová teplota. Měrné teplo požáru. Mechanismus reakcí hoření a výbuchu. Teorie řetězových reakcí. Tepelný mechanismus, kinetika adiabatické reakce. Tlakové, koncentrační a teplotní meze výbuchu. Indukční periody. Potlačení výbušnosti inertizací. Plamen. Fyzikální charakteristiky. Difúzní, kinetický, laminární a turbulentní plamen, rozložení teploty v plameni. Stabilita plamene. Hoření plynných, kapalných a tuhých látek. Hoření disperzních soustav. Mechanismus výbušných přeměn, explozivní hoření, výbuch II.řádu, detonace. Rázová vlna, vznik, šíření. Hydrodynamická teorie detonace. Fyzikálně-chemické principy hašení. Tepelný a teplotní režim požáru. Hasiva a jejich fyzikálně-chemické vlastnosti a působení. Zřeďování, ochlazování, přerušení, retardace. Vlastnosti koloidních soustav při hoření a hašení.
