Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Introducing students to the procedure for searching and processing data in the literature according to the principles for the development of the thesis. Assembling the contents of a text incorporating literary analysis according to the assignment of the thesis. Initiation of diploma thesis under the guidance of manager or consultant based on a specified topic of the thesis.

Summary

Studenti budou seznámeni s požadavky na diplomovou práci, se způsobem citace literárních zdrojů a dojde k sestavení finální podoby zadání diplomové práce. V další části předmětu pak studenti budou zpracovávat rešeršní (teoretickou) část své práce pod vedením přidělených vedoucích.

Recommended literature:

Articles from professional journals and proceedings of conferences according to the focus of the thesis.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Credit prerequisites: Presentation of intent, objectives and proposed methods of solution of student's diploma thesis in the form of a PowerPoint presentation before a specialized commission (brief presentation, what will be the content of the diploma thesis).

Subject syllabus:

1. Introduction to the formal requirements for a diploma thesis, discussion of source literature citation rules, format and scope of the thesis. 2. Processing literature review aimed at addressing the thesis. 3. Experimental Research 4. The interim consultation as necessary with a supervisor or consultant thesis. 5. Checking research, literary analysis and the writing of a thesis credit.
