- znát typy sléváren podle odlévaných materiálů a slévárenských výrobních technologií
- umět popsat principy práce strojního vybavení jednotlivých oddělení klasické slévárny pro odlévání odlitků do pískových forem,
- znát zařízení pro další technologie výroby odlitků - speciální metody odlévání,
- ovládat princip práce zařízení pro nekonvenční technologie.

Summary
The present-day situation in designing the foundry shops. The individual kinds
of foundry shops. The planar and spatial arrangement and/or layout of the
foundry shops. Transporting systems at the foundry shops – inputs and outputs.
Aisles for raw materials, storage rooms, preparation of charges and other
materials at the foundries.
