Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student will be able as follows:
-to know principles of checking the mechanical properties of castings (non-destructive testing, material structure, defectoscopy, determination of chemical composition of metals);
-to be clever at casting defects (defects classification) and to know principles of preventing them;
-to know the systems quality control, the quality control instruments;
-to utilize the statistical analysis methods, to interpret the results (regulating diagrams).
