Student will be able to / have knowledge of these topics: Materials for automotive design-metals. Technology riveting. Bonding technology in the automotive industry Anchoring and Fixings in composite structures. Resistance welding. Friction welding. CMT welding. Laser welding. Laser-Hybrid Welding: laser-MIG/MAG. Plasma welding. Technology of soldering. Testing connections automotive structures. The student will also learn and master: Design of welded structures - selection of basic and additional material, welding process variables. Carrying capacity of welded joints - calculations, butt welds, fillet. Carrying capacity of welded joints - Spot welding calculations, studs. Labelling welds on drawings. Quality of welded joints - VT,MT.PT,UT, evaluation of defects in the samples, the grades according to ČSN EN ISO 5817 Mechanical testing of welds and bonded joints.

Basic concepts of statics and strength - power, voltage, torque, strain, degrees of freedom, bonds, ... 3. Methods of stress components - tension, shear, bending, torsion, bar system, still uncertain task bar system, ... 4th Fatigue - tensile test, tears, Wöhler curve, influences on fatigue components, ... 5th Welding 1 6th Welding 2 7th Welding 3 Bolted connections eighth - partition, usability, design calculations, ... 9th dynamically loaded screw connections - connections with preload, cyclic loading, Haigh - Smith chart. 10th Pinned joints - classification, applicability, basic computing, ... 11th Joints by pins and pens - division, feasibility, basic computing, ... 12th Clamping connections - distribution, use, basic computing, ... 13th Interference fits - tolerance, use and usability, basic computing, ... 14th Glued joints - the use of adhesives and usability ...
