Summary

This subject is aimed at accumulation of theoretical knowledge and practical experience from the field of melting copper alloys and grey cast iron, from preparation of melts for pouring to get artistic castings.

Compulsory literature:

-Articles in professional journals, papers of conferences, research reports, theses.

Recommended literature:

Articles in professional journals, papers of conferences, research reports, theses.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Individual tasks will be awarded with a weekly schedule. The tasks will work during the exercises. Students of combined study will send their analysis of literature through e-mail. There is a 3 points penalty for each week of delay of tasks checking in after the deadline.

E-learning

The character of the course does not require form of e-learning teaching.

Other requirements

There are not additional requirements on students in the field of this subject.
