Students will be able to learn the most important art works of Greek and Roman antiquity
Students will be able to identify aspects of style of the time and place of their origin or the author.

Summary
Development of art of ancient Greece and Rome, from its archaic beginnings to the highest period of growth and expansion throughout the Mediterranean. The emergence of fundamentally different art of early Christianity in imperial Rome and the subsequent development.
