Students will be able to learn the most important art works of Greek and Roman antiquity Students will be able to identify aspects of style of the time and place of their origin or the author. Students will be able to effectively separate verbal methods, respectively. any written fine art foundry problems.

Summary

Development of art of ancient Greece and Rome, from its archaic beginnings to the highest period of growth and expansion throughout the Mediterranean. The emergence of fundamentally different art of early Christianity in imperial Rome and the subsequent development.

3. semestr V tomto semestru bude osvětlen zrod středověké evropské kultury, která vyrostla v návaznosti a někdy i v syntéze a splývání odkazu antiky na jedné straně a křesťanství na straně druhé. Bude poskytnut výklad o starokřesťanském, karolinském a jiném výtvarném umění středověké evropy
