Summary

Modeling the subject in which students are engaged in creating sculptural character, taking basic sculptural receive the award. The object of study is the plastic work is focused on independent work and ability to execute on the given topic, which enables understanding of the requirements of the sculpture. Modeling study to gain skills in sculpting statues, and prepare students to deal with contracts of art or your own creation. An integral part of the course is a general knowledge of sculptural realization.

Subject syllabus:

Lecture 1st Relief in connection with historical epochs. The ancient, Romanesque reliéf.Donatello, Ghiberti, Rodin, Manz, etc. Comparing illustration reproduction. 2nd The concept of relief reduction. The correct method of application and control. 3rd The concept of high and low relief (alto-relievo, bas-relief). 4th Medal, a plaque. Eg. Otakar creation Španiela.Užití bass-relief and fonts in plastic, or a hollowed form. 5th Scripture. Text in the area. Choice of font type, location of text in various formats, italic, etc. Exercise 1st Transfer of drawing the design-made-by-three-dimensional model of the surface relief. 2nd Determination of maximum height and the subsequent differentiation of other critical dimensions. 3rd A concerted action of shaping a strong correction. 4th Clean refining the individual volumes to maximize spaciousness. Accurate work properly elected aids working in well-lit space. 5th Formation. Making a blank form. 6th Plaster cast. Pouring plaster model to full, making plaster shard - in case of force plate relief. 7th Retouching the cast - in the wet and dry.
