Summary
The student will be familiarized with the procedures of technical documentation. It will deal with displaying an object in a rectangular projection using the first and third quadrant method. In the course of their studies they will acquire the methods of designing simple parts and assemblies and preparation of their drawing documentation. The student will get acquainted with the basic normalized parts and their incorporation in the drawing documentation of the reports. After completing the subject, the student should be able to independently prepare the technical documentation of the produced part or assemblies with all the requisites.

.Standardization (standards and their classification according to IEC and ICS). Drawings (engineering drawings, technical drawings division, formats and editing drawing sheet title block, list items text data, corrections and changes to the drawings.)
.Displaying the technical drawings (rectangular projection, projection, line, scale, font). The choice and number of images.
.Drawing image components. Views, sections and cross sections, its labeling. Types of cuts, drawing away.
.Dimensioning, basic concepts, writing dimensions. System dimensions, dimensions of elements shaped machine parts.
.Tolerancing of dimensions, the basic concepts of matching, uniform system of recording deviations in the drawings, tolerance angles. Fundamentals of dimensional calculations circuits. Preferred numbers and the normal size. Prescribing of surface treatment and heat treatment. The quality of surface roughness assessment, labeling roughness on the drawings.
.Geometric tolerances. Tolerancing cones.
.Distribution of connecting parts. Screw connection (pitch, pitch, division, bolts, nuts, washers) their display (normal, simplified, schematic), and dimensioning. Drawing and dimensioning threads. Tolerances, surface roughness.
.Machine components (springs, pins, bolts, pins, springs), their distribution, display, and dimensioning.
.Transfers (basic concepts, distribution, display). Drawing pulleys and sprockets.
.Gears (division, basic concepts, basic dimensions, the basic calculations for the front straight and helical gears, bevel to direct). Drawing gears, dimensions, filling a corner of the stamp, display gearing.
.Bearings (sliding, rolling), basic types, according to the label catalog, drawing, insurance and seals bearing area.
.Shaft and the axis. Basic rules, drawing shafts and axes, drawing shape details on the shafts.
.Permanent link (connection by riveting, welding, soldering and gluing). Basic concepts, classification, drawing, marking the drawings.
.Fundamentals of 3D modeling environment of Autodesk Inventor.
