- The student will be able to describe the principles related to the frame of his bachelor thesis.
- The student will be able to work competently with relevant literature and critically evaluate it.

The subject is set up as a tool to support role of thesis supervisor and consultant (s).
Compulsory literature:
The principles for developing the bachelor thesis according to the guidelines of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, are available from: http://katedry.fmmi.vsb.cz/632/

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Classified credit
The condition for graduation is a semester work, which is part of the bachelor's assignment student work. In the credit week there will be a commission opposition
semester work with the participation of the bachelor's thesis supervisor.
The opposition is in the form of a ten-minute presentation and discussion.

Subject syllabus:
1. Study of recommended literature and other literary sources.
2. Literary research of Czech sources related to the topic of bachelor thesis.
3. Literary research of foreign sources related to the topic of bachelor thesis.
4. Individual solution of bachelor thesis.
5. Consultation of the results achieved with the bachelor thesis supervisors.
6. Elaboration of the practical part of the bachelor thesis.
7. Completion of bachelor thesis.
8. Presenting and advocating achievements to students and teachers.
9. Preparation for the defense of the bachelor thesis and the course of the final state examination.
