Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The graduate of the course is able to classify and clarify individual production and material technologies that are applied in the automotive industry. Attention will be focused mainly on the production and processing of components based on metals and their alloys (steel, alloys based on Al, Mg, Ti, etc.). The student is able to describe the principle and basic parameters of individual technologies for the preparation of selected types of materials, as well as define their advantages and disadvantages. The graduate is also able to discuss the development of new materials for these applications and current trends in the automotive industry.
