Study level | undergraduate or graduate | Requirement | Compulsory |
Year | 2 | Semester | winter |
| | Study language | Czech |
Year of introduction | 2016/2017 | Year of cancellation | |
Intended for the faculties | FMT | Intended for study types | Follow-up Master |
Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with rapid technologies, ie technologies for prototype and individual production of the parts. Students will lecture familiar with the specifics of the issue of CNC machining. Students, after completing the course Technology for rapid prototyping I, understand the issues of the CNC machining, from the selection of blank, choice of tooling and fixtures, measuring components and tools, through control systems of machine, to the programming of CNC machining.
Students with the acquired knowledge will be able to design process methods of manufacture individual components in a lump and prototype production or even in larger series. Students will know the differences between the classical 3-axis machining and multiaxial machining, and will know relation about the choice of tools and process methods. Students will understand the specifics of multi-axis machines, and will know the basic operation of these machines.
The advantage of this new subject is that students will have complete knowledge in the field of technological products, which will actually solve the problems of the dimensioning of the workpiece, the technological design of 3D model and the choice of material. Students will need to creatively engage creative minds to create machining programs and changes in the structural design of the proposed machine parts.
In the exercises, students will be familiar with the basics of programming CNC machines at ISO codes and at the control system Heidenhain.I Students in exercise will, by manual programming, machining simple parts. During the exercise, students test their programs at real 5-axis machines, and will be familiar with the basics of operating the most advanced multi-axis machine Litz LU-800 and Sahos FC3000.
Students will acquire a basic knowledge of the control some technologies of rapid prototyping and CNC machining.
