Objective of the course: Students in the study will evaluate the knowledge acquired during the previous study. Furthermore, they gain a comprehensive overview of the issues draft suspension vehicle of a sports car. Learning outcomes: Students will gain theoretical and practical knowledge in the design and construction of suspension vehicle using CAD systems. After completing the course will be able to define the material and strength requirements of the individual elements of suspension vehicle. Furthermore, get an overview of current materials and technologies used in the design of the suspension vehicle of a sports car. Gain skills: Students will gain practical skills in the area of 3D CAD systems. Skills can use when creating drawings and other graphic and technical outputs.

Subject syllabus:

1)The issue of the draft suspension vehicle. Analysis of suspension vehicle used in sports cars. Used materials and technologies in the development process suspension vehicle. 2)Proposal for dimensional parameters and tires determine the dimensional parameters for analyzing suspension vehicle geometry car. 3)Data processing analysis, geometry suspension vehicle, transfer into the CAD system. 4)Selection of available component base suspension vehicle, and their materials and stress analysis. 5)The design parameters for suspension draft dampers with spring. 6)Design of the brake system, basic calculations. 7)Selection of suitable materials for brake discs and pads, new trends in materials, brake discs and pads. 8)Part modeling component base in CAD software. The formation of the suspension vehicle. 9)Analysis of extreme positions, demonstration conducted metallographic tests of parts including chemistry. 10)Based on power analysis, the choice of appropriate materials. 11)Sizing structural element, strength calculation. 12)Selection of suitable technology, including heat treatment and surface finishing. 13)Draft shape and material strapless and wheel carrier, including material and technological aspects. 14)Presentation of semester project.
