Teaching methods

Summary

Significance of forming. Plastic deformation. Basic laws. Thermal and mechanical quantities of metalforming. Strain hardening and restoration processes. Workability. Influence of metalforming on metal properties. Stocks and their preparation. Rolling. Rod and wire drawing. Extrusion. Seamless and welded tubes. Open-die and closed-die forging. Controlled metalforming processes. Economy , ecology and automatization in forming processes.

Subject syllabus:

Základní způsoby tváření, význam a postavení tváření v metalurgickém cyklu, vnitrokrystalové deformace a doprovodné jevy plastické deformace, teoretické základy tváření, mezní stavy, sortiment tvářených výrobků, návaznost na plynulé lití, teoretické a technologické principy válcování, podélné a ploché vývalky, trubky, základy tažení a protlačování, lisování a kování, tváření neželezných kovů, úpravenské pochody, simulace tvářecích procesů a zkoušení vlastností, predikce užitných vlastností, inovace a modernizace tvářecích zařízení, trendy výroby a tržní atraktivita.
