Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student will be able to describe unconventional technology rolling, forging, wire drawing and extrusion. Interpret input blank stock for unconventional technology mechanical working. Student will be able to calculate fundamental equation for calculation deformation strain and power. Develop new routes mechanical working.

Summary

New forming directions and developments. Analyses and innovation of the formed products. Systemic model of forming processes, systemic and methodical ground for designing of forming processes. High-speed forming and high-energy forming. Isothermal and super-plastic forming. Forming in vacuum, forming by ultrasound. Forming of material in tixotropic state, hydro-mechanical drawing, isostatic pressing. Selected methods of rolling, explosive forming, forming of unconventional semis. Forming machines for unconventional forming.

1.Cold fading and cold extrusion. 2. Conventional hot extrusion. 3. Hydrostatic extrusion of metals and alloys. 4. wire, rod, and tube drawing. 5. Flat, bar, and shape rolling. 6. Roll forming of axially symmetric components. 7. Thread rolling. 8. Coextrusion. 9. Flow forming. 10. Equal-channel angular extrusion. 11.Plastic deformation structures. 12. Recovery, recrystallization, and grain-growth structures. 13. Constitutive equations. 14. Evaluation of workability for bulk forming processes. 1.Workpiece materials dabase 2. Materials for cold headings 3. Impal extrusion of magnesium alloys. 4. Preses for extrusion. 5. Models for predicting microstructural evolution. 6. Polykrystal modeling, plastic forming, and deformation textures. 7.Transformation and recrystellization textures asociated with steel processing. 8.
