Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student will know how to study and mathematically describe the aspects of deformation behaviour of metallic materials at hot and cold bulk forming. Student will be able to apply this knowledge at improving formability and using the structure potential of formed materials.

Summary

Subject provides comprehensive theoretical knowledge about the materiál-based and thermo-mechanical factors influencing formability of metallica materials. Attention is paid especially to the physical methods of testing the hot formability.
