Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student will be able to: - solve imaging of graphs by specialized software in relation on scientific relation in specific forming problems. - connection of theoretical knowledge’s with graphic formulation of functions. - create of technical sketch parts used in materials forming area. - design of 3D models describing input shapes of material and forming tools, which can be used in mathematical simulations.

Summary

The course is aimed on processing technology and scientific results by graphic expression made usually on special software. Furthermore, it provides the basics knowledgies of work in 2D and 3D CAD systems, so that the graduate be able to prepare a mathematical simulation of the materials forming.

Subject syllabus:

Lectures: 1. Introduction to charting. 2. Interpolation and approximation in the design charts 3. Conditional functions. 4. Methods of data processing by using regression. 5. Space Charts. 6. 2D drawings, basic methods of screening. 7. Overview of technical drawing, basic elements. 8. 2D drawings for metal forming. 9. Specifics of the drawings in the roll pass desing. 10. Construction of the contact surface with roll. 11. 3D design - Basic drawing methods 12. Intersections of solids 13. Creating drawings from 3D objects 14. Calculations based on knowledge of the volume of 3D objects Exercise: 1. The basis of the Gnuplot. 2. Construction of 2D graphs using different x and y axes. 3. Processing the results in text files into charts. 4. Using conditional functions in special graph structures - report. 5. User-defined functions, using the regression by fit. 6. Space Charts - report. 7. Basics of QCad software. 8. Construction of extension gauges in 2D - report. 9. Graphic determination of the contact area - enter. 10. Graphic determination of the contact area - report. 11. Calibration of the wire rod - protocol. 12. The basic orientation program ProIng. 13. Drawing objects in space ProIng. 14. Processing of input materials and rolls as mandated by the appearance of 3D objects into exportable simulation programs.
