Summary

The aim of this subject is to describe importance, properties and utilization of products formed and cast from non-ferrous metals and their alloys. Physical-mechanical basics of forming and casting, technological formability and castability of heavy, light, precious and noble metals are depicted. Processing technologies and procedures (rolling, forging, extrusion) applied for forming and casting of non-ferrous alloys on the basis of copper, nickel, zinc, aluminum, magnesium and titanium are mentioned together with heat treatment of non-ferrous metals products.
