Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student will be able to determine mathematically the principal quantities connected with plastic deformation, and utilize them at description of strain / stress states as well as at solving the differential equations of equilibrium for the individual forming processes. Thus he gains the necessary theoretical basis for study of the consequent technological subjects in field of material forming.

Summary

The subject forms the theoretical basis of the consequent technological subjects in field of material forming. The attention is paid mainly to state of stress, deformation and deformation rate, their tensor expression and state of stress invariance.
