Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Student will be able to orient himself in basic concepts of information systems of industrial enterprises, system´s links among individual information systems its functions and demands.

Summary
The aim of the subject is to introduce a global concept of industrial
enterprise information system, information linkages among information systems,
their functions and requirements they should fulfil. The subject will
also focus on a data object model of organizational information systems and
individual function areas.

Subject syllabus:
- Inclusion of an industrial company into its surroundings, description of relationships, objectives and functions of the company.
- Industrial company information systems - data and object model.
- Supply chain management - SCM.
- Support of sales and marketing - CRM.
- Planning and scheduling of resources and production - ERP.
- Gathering data from production, their sorting and processing – usable database tools, communication requirements.
- Dispatching information systems.
- Quality management, SPC, SQC.
- Maintenance management, property management.
- Monitoring the production flows and product genealogy, links to warehouse management.
- Performance analysis, methods of determining the unit cost
of production, cooperation with MIS systems.
- Documentation management - CAD / CAM systems, tracking information generated in production, circulation of documents in the company.
- Process optimization - optimization and prediction models, optimization of
technology, processes, production.
- Allocation of resources.
- Development tools of a product.
