Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student acquires knowledge in the field of iron production in the blast furnace, but also in the field of furnace metal processing. They will be acquainted with physical and chemical processes in secondary metallurgy. He will acquire knowledge in the field of material forming and metal cutting technology. It gets information on the entire process of production processes from the treatment of ore materials to the final metal processing.

Summary
The subject is focused on the industrial technology of metal production and processing. Parts are oriented to the problematics of iron production (blast furnace, outside furnace) and its subsequent processing in the secondary metallurgy processes, forming processes and advanced metal machining technologies. Part of the interpretation of the individual production process technologies is a detailed analysis of the course of physical, chemical, mechanical and thermal processes in the connection with the efficient process of technological processes. The partial part is focused on the interconnection of individual production technologies and the complex optimization of the production chain.
