Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student - will understand the role and priciples of human resource management as the decisive source of company's success, - will obtain knowledge of fundamental personnel activities as recruitment, evaluation, remuneration and education of employees, - will get to know about the terms and importance of firm's culture and employee relations, - will acquire the knowledge of ergonomics at work, - will obtain basic information about labour market, supply and demand and about unemployment.

Summary

The aim of the subject is to introduce the meaning and principles of the human resource management and to devolve necessary skills on students so they could apply them in practice of HRM and them to understand the strategic advantage of the human resource management in the enterprise. The subject also introduces employee motivation and its role, both tangible and intangible.
