Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Metallurgical Semiproduct Technology represents a bridge between technology chain of integrated primary metallurgy and a wide range of fields of final products such as precision engineering, automotive, agricultural equipment, aerospace, construction behold. For the study program Economics and Management of industrial systems and study economics and management in the industry is a significant knowledge and skill application of economic instruments in the technological processes within the technological chain. Students gain specific skills especially in the area of price calculation, cash flow management, cost and benchmarking in relation to technological processes and unit costs and overheads. They will also obtain knowledge in terms of the final function and value of final production in relation to competitiveness in the global market

Summary

Metallurgical Semiproduct Technology represents a broad spectrum of manufacturing industries, which are based on the primary metallurgy. Metallurgical Semiproduct Technology creates a basic pillar for building industrial structure of the final production on both the quality and the quality of final products and in terms of the functional properties of the final products. It also represents the result of research and development in metallurgy primary function of the application of products in steel, non-ferrous metals and nanotechnology. he results of these applications are the subject of critical changes in the economic behavior of the vast majority of industries. Within the scope of the new knowledge applied research and development, based on both its own research base material research center, so the findings and new trends of world producers. The main emphasis is on knowledge from fields with high innovation potential, such as metal-ceramics, powder metallurgy superalloys and in the fields of nanotechnology, as well as the area of a wire fabric filtration, screws, springs and cables for wide applications in the automotive, aviation technology, healthcare and precise engineering. The study results are knowledge and competences transfer of technical and technological know-how in the process of economic and financial management of the company. The study allows to gain insight into important trends in the global market within an integrated technological chain
