Teaching methods
Summary
Thermomechanical quantities of metals and alloys in the dependence on the
temperature. Mechanical properties. Heat transfer in the furnace area. Solving
of material heating for given boundary conditions, determination of thermal
fields. Thermal stresses, nonuniformity of heating. Furnace atmosphere.
Oxidation and decarburization of metals.

Subject syllabus:
Termomechanické veličiny kovů a slitin v závislosti na teplotě. Mechanické
vlastnosti. Sdílení tepla v pecním prostoru. Ohřev materiálu při daných
okrajových podmínkách řešení, stanovení teplotních polí. Tepelná pnutí a
nerovnoměrnost ohřevu, jeho technologické způsoby. Pecní atmosféra. Oxidace a
oduhličení.
