Teaching methods

Summary

Types of furnaces. The furnace as a result of technological, energy, material and environmental requirements. Furnace characteristics in metallurgical, machine, glass, ceramic, food and chemical industry. Heat balance of furnaces, determination of basic characteristics of heating. Regimes of heating. New directions in the furnace design.

Subject syllabus:

Kategorizace pecí. Obecná problematika a specifikace technologických požadavků. Hospodaření s energií. Problematika ochrany životního prostředí, plynné a pevné exhalace, teplo, hluk. Charakteristika tepelné práce pece, volba a výpočty režimů ohřevů. Tepelná bilance a ukazatelé charakterizující práci pece. Aplikace jednotlivých režimů přestupu tepla a tepelných systémů. Metodika výpočtu průmyslových pecí. Racionalizace a nové směry v konstrukci pecí.
