Teaching methods

Summary

Drying, heating and melting of materials as a part of industrial technologies. Thermal and temperature regimes of technology. Thermal and physical properties of materials. Heat transfer in working area of furnaces. The temperature of furnace. External and internal transfer of heat. Balance of heat transfer rate in the lining - flame - charge system. Solving methods for heating and cooling processes. Technological principles of heating. Basic regimes of heating, application for multiphase regimes of heating.

Subject syllabus:

Historický vývoj a limity rozvoje pecních konstrukcí. Pec jako výsledek technologických energetických, materiálových a ekologických požadavků. Přenos tepla a bilance tepelných toků v pracovním prostoru pecí. Vnější a vnitřní přestup tepla, rovnice vnějšího přestupu tepla. Radiační a konvekční režim. Ohřev materiálů s fázovými přeměnami a tavením. Technologické zásady ohřevu. Oxidace a oduhličení kovů. Tepelná pnutí při ohřevu a ochlazování materiálů. Základní režimy ohřevu tlustých těles. Tepelná práce základních typů pecí.
