The aim of subject is a general overview in the field of ceramic materials in the range: - summary of basic raw materials for the manufacture of ceramic materials - the most common production technology of ceramic materials, - basic dividing of ceramic products, - basic properties of ceramic materials - application of ceramic materials.

Summary

Characterization and range of subject. Definition and description of ceramic materials - structural, sanitari, refractories, other ceramic. Properties of ceramic materials - physical, mechanical and thermal. Raw materials for production of ceramic products. Grain size distribution, jabber, shape, drying, firing. Ceramic materials in service.

Subject syllabus:

Charakteristika a rozsah oboru. Definování a rozdělení keramických matriálů - stavební, užitková, žárovzdorná a speciální keramika. Vlastnosti keramických materiálů, charakteristika, rozdělení, úprava. Výroba keramických materiálů, definování základních technologických postupů. Granulometrie, mletí, tvarování, sušení a výpal.
