Summary

General characteristic of binding agents. Gypsum plasters, magnesium oxychloride cement, quick and hydraulic lime. Hydraulic binders: Portland cement (raw materials, calculations of the raw materials mixture, high- temperature processes of the clinker formation, the mechanism of setting and hardening, properties), aluminous cement, special inorganic cements, phosphate binders with water glass. Application of building binders, concrete, refractory castables.
