- student will be able to describe the problems in the field of thermal engineering and industrial ceramics
- student will be able to characterize the technology chosen from the area visited the company or institution
- student will be able to present the selected technology related to the field of study
- student will be able to prepare a report on completion of professional practice in a company or institution.

Summary
Provide students with knowledge in the field of thermal engineering and industrial ceramics. In this course, students receive practice in enterprises, institutions, or work Technical University of Ostrava. The course can also be excursions in field-oriented companies and institutions, especially in the Czech Republic.

1. Articles from specialized journals Central Library, Technical University of Ostrava, focusing on thermal engineering and industrial ceramics.

Subject syllabus:
1. Before starting his own practice (usually in the middle of the semester) student contacts the guarantor and request to the content and professional practice and leader for consulting.
2. Student expresses agreement with the content and timing of practice.
3. Student notify the onset of practice on the day of arrival.
4. Student professional practice to perform properly.
5. Student shall immediately inform the Head of the professional practice of barriers to the proper administration of practice.
6. Student notify ending the practice, surrender: confirmation during practice, including evaluation of the student responsible and report on the progress of professional practice.
