Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student will be able: - right substance and factors of natural and environment - prove orientation in energy sources and energy mix creation - evaluat the nature of thermal energy creation - give an appraisal of the thermal processes in terms of emissions - evaluate methods of primary reduction of emission - know the substance of the secondary methodsfor removing emissions from thermal processes

Teaching methods

Energy resources and their use. The environment, the ecosystems and the processes therein. Emissions generation in energy transformation, the consequences of the occurrence of the emissions to the environment. Options for the prevention of emissions and procedures for their removal. Low-emission equipment and technology.
