Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

- student will be able to describe the basic principles related to the topic of the diploma thesis - student will be able to defend the theoretical basis, draw conclusions and the thesis will be ready to present and defend the diploma thesis - student will be able to work individually with literature focusing on his diploma thesis - student will be able to evaluate and process the experimental measurements and draw up conclusions the diploma thesis.

Summary

The subject acquaints students with the procedures for searching and processing of data in the literature according to the principles for the development of the diploma thesis. Solutions incorporating the text of literary analysis in the field of thermal engineering and industrial ceramics according to the diploma thesis. Finalizing the diploma thesis under the supervision of a manager or consultant together with the formulation of knowledge based on a specified topic of the diploma thesis.

Compulsory literature:

1. It is listed in the diploma thesis. 2. Requirements for the development of the final theses according to the guidelines of Department 635, which are available from: http://katedry.fmmi.vsb.cz/635/.

Subject syllabus:

1. Recapitulation of requirements for the diploma thesis, a discussion of the source literature citation rules, format and scope finalization the diploma thesis. 2. Completion of a literature review aimed at addressing finalization the diploma thesis. 3. Analysis min. three foreign and three other literary sources from the area of solved problems in the form of text as a basis for the diploma thesis. 4. Continuous consultation as appropriate with supervisor or consultant the diploma thesis. 5. Checking research, literary analysis and the writing of the diploma thesis and award of credit. 6. Monitoring other sources of information in the field of thermal engineering and industrial ceramics. 7. To acquaint students with the evaluation data of experimental research related to entering the diploma thesis.
